Statement
Jennifer Clark is a painter and muralist exploring themes around the natural world, psychology, and the complexities of what it means to be human in our contemporary culture. Her paintings ebb and flow between abstract and representational image making.
Clark grew up in Toronto, Ontario spending summers outdoors at camp or camping with her family. This time spent in two very different worlds shaped her creative trajectory. Growing up at art school in Toronto and studying fine arts at Concordia University further cemented her commitment to the arts.
She has painted murals for the Vancouver Mural Festival, Earl's Restaurant, The Kettle Society and multiple businesses in the lower mainland and has exhibited at various galleries in Vancouver and Montreal.
